Mission: As a supply chain, you’ll oversee and manage every stage of the distribution flow, from purchasing the raw materials to the delivery of the final product. You’ll ensure the right amount of product is made at the right time, as well as coordinate the storage of the product.
Responsabilities:
– Support Purchase Order and Inventory Management.
– Use company tools to analyze, recommend, and execute inventory optimization opportunities based on historical trends and customer forecasts.
– Support in ‘processing purchase orders; act as a liaison between Berlin Packaging employees and its suppliers.
– Negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers.
– Manage the costs involved while maintaining quality.
– Work with procurement managers and buyers to source the right products.
– Confirm, track and expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery.
– Resolve discrepancies and/or problems that occur during the purchase order cycle.
– Support the management of inter-unit stock requests and transfer item.
– Improve the overall supply chain performance and look for any possible innovations to the process.
– Implement new technologies and stay alert to new trends and developments in the sector.
Requirements:
– Master’s degree in management engineering or related
– Fluent knowledge of English and Italian
